Good Christian Tunes?????

Aimee and I love listening to music. But we cannot find music we like. Aimee got a free cd on the weekend, I wont mention what cd, but it was whiny and boring. It wasnt good music. We both cant find good Christian music. That is good tunes with sound message.

After reading this post from Dave Miers i thought i would pose the question to anyone, are there any good Christian musicians????

Any suggestions????

  1. On my Christian playlist I have stuff by:
    - Switchfoot,
    - MercyMe,
    - Britt Nicole, and
    - Sanctus Real.

Like you, I'm not a fan of the 'whiny' stuff. Hope this helps!

  3. I think Calling Elijah is pretty good - but maybe I'm biased because I'm in it...but just in case you want to humour me... www.myspace.com/callingelijahband
My pic on the page would be the song Inside Out
    Happy listening :)

  5. Relient K (Brillant)
Need to Breathe (recommended by friends- I have not decided yet)
John Reuben (his first album is the answer)
Downhere (again can only recommend older stuff)
Jars of Clay (could worlds apart be the best Christian song ever written - I think yes)
